Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon have been thinking about becoming parents now that they believe they've found "the one," and although they have been slightly secretive about whether or not they're currently trying to get pregnant - wonder no more. Mariah was spotted purchasing a crib and highchair... in pink!
Mariah Carey wants a little girl. The pop diva was seen splashing out big bucks on furniture, which included a pink crib and highchair from a children's store in San Francisco. She and Nick are set to purchase a new home together (and apparently have a baby together).
The couple are interested in the David Saperstein mansion in exclusive western L.A. neighborhood of Holmby Hills - it's a reported $125 million - and have put an offer on the home.
A source said, "It's 45,000 square feet and looks like a European castle. It's so big, it can't even be called a mansion - it's similar to Buckingham Palace!
"Mariah has asked [interior decorator] Kenneth Bordewick to advise on her new home and has requested an all-pink nursery. It's going to be over the top!" Mariah Carey "over the top"?... ya, that's hard to believe. *Insert sarcasm here*
Mariah and Nick would have some famous neighbors - including Hugh Hefner, and David and Victoria Beckham. Hey... Mariah's kids could have playdates with the Beckham boys!
