Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb, 59, has fathered a love child with his 33-year-old housekeeper. The lovers welcomed a baby girl on November 4, whom they named Snow Robin. Although Gibb's wife Dwina has accepted her husband's on-going 8-year affair with Claire Yang, she was not impressed when she became pregnant - she felt "betrayed." Wow, quite a situation!
Yang lived with the Gibb's as their housekeeper and Dwina seemed to have no problem with her husband having an affair with the younger woman but said the pregnancy was taking the relationship too far and ordered Yang out of their Oxfordshire mansion.
Claire and the now 3-month-old baby are living a few miles down the road in a home rented by Robin. He's also paying for a nanny to help Clair with their daughter.
Dwina Gibb said of her and Robin's relationship, "We have an open relationship.
"Robin has had flings in the past with friends of mine and he talks to me about them. It doesn't worry me because I trust my friends. And I am, after all, his best friend as well as his wife and lover - and I'm sure we'll always be together."
Robin and Dwina have a 26-year-old son who lives with them. And Robin has two other children from his previous marriage.
Since the birth of Gibb's new baby, wife Dwina has laid down strict "rules," not allowing Claire or Snow into their family home. Although, at first, Claire was still living with the couple as her pregnancy progressed - but Dwina didn't know that Robin was the father of the baby. When she found out, she was furious.
Snow's birth certificate names Robin as the father and lists his profession as "musician". Claire, although unmarried, is described as a "housewife".
The certificate also gives Snow's full name as Snow Evelyn Robin Juliet Gibb. Evelyn is Claire's mother's name.
