One of my favorite times of the day is story time. Is it your or just your kid's?
It's one of Adam Sandler's favorite time of the day as well.
He said, “I like to dress up as the lead character in whatever story I am
reading. This is a little weird because my daughter loves the Disney
princesses. But you’d be surprised at how good I look in a ball gown. I
hold the storybook and make up my own stories with the characters. This
backfired when my daughter started watching movies and realized that
Cinderella didn’t drive for NASCAR.”
We like sing song stories here at my house. We don't quite act everything out but it's a really good idea. Though my boys would probably just be wound up after a theatre production.
