The only thing those jeans and belt are telling us is that she's obviously clueless in the fashion department. Clearly, she's not fa. I'm no J. Simp fan, and am loathe to defend her, but she's not overweight. As you noted.

Jealous much?  The girl is still petite.  She still looks hot.  Not eveyone has to have jutting clavicles to look "good".  Ugh...

I do hate the pants though...

Give me a break!!!  Sure the belt should go.  It chops her in half.  The only think I notice in the pic is that she appears a little bloated. She is probably 120 lbs. Look at what's happened in the fashion world.  We've seen models die for their profession.  Who in the hell started this story which seems to have taken off?  I thought the media was beginning to be more concerned over healthy body image?  Obviously not. Who cares about her body, SHE'S GOT AN ENORMOUS NOSE AND BUCK ASS TEETH. She's a friggin two bagger. A bag for her and a bag for the person who's doin her incase hers falls off...

Just because she isn't Daisy Dukes skinny anymore doesn't mean that she isn't still beautiful.  We need more celebrities that are NORMAL sized to promote how sexy a healthy, full-figured body can be.  Jessica just has to learn how to work her new, wonderful curves with the right outfit to make her ven more slammin' than ever!

Not "fat" by normal standards.  Total blimp to the fashion world.  Trouble is most girls under 20 will buy magazines with ads of wafer thin models advertising jeans, makeup and more, distorting a real perception of what they should look like. Jessica was on her own high horse when she was part of the wafer thin crowd. She milked it financially until the ride was over.  Now that the shoe is on the other foot, I think it is her obligation to all the young girls who buy her products, to get off that high horse and be a spokesperson for NORMAL body size.  Jessica Simpson is still a nice looking girl.  She was never drop dead gorgeous but thin and very attractive.  Now that the thin is gone, she is average Sue.  Most of America associates with THIS body image and only fantasizes about the other. Girls should realize size 12 is the most popular size for femals in America.  NOT 2! The pants do suck by-the-way, but they do hide a fuller stomach nicely.  

i like her big fat butt
