Have You Seen The Caylee Anthony Doll?

Did you hear that someone is making a “tribute” doll to Caylee Anthony? A “portion” of the $30 price tag, may go to some charities that have yet to be named, but only maybe. It isn’t a sure thing, but you know maybe.

The creator said that he wasn’t sure if it was appropriate to be making the doll or not and that he was anticipating critics.

You think?

Oh wait, we now have an update that the company isn’t going to be making the dolls.

Thank goodness.

Jaime Salcedo, the creator, said, “The doll would “honor” and “respect” Caylee’s life by bringing awareness to her case, and was specifically designed not to look like Caylee because it would be too morbid.”

He said of the public criticism, “The way that they look at it is morbid and all negative, ‘Oh, the little girl is killed.’ They don’t look at the thing that Caylee’s in heaven right now and she’s dancing and singing and she’s joyous and in a better place than any of us here.”

Okay, he’s creepy and wrong. Yuck! I can’t think of anything to say, I’m just astounded that someone would think that a doll would be a tribute.
