Gavin Rossdale Honors Purple Heart Recipient
Family man, Gavin Rossdale showed up at the finale on the latest episode of Extreme Makeover Home Edition.
Gavin sang his song Love Remains the Same, for the mom and dad of the family who the show helped this week.
As a dad to two, Gavin must know the fears every husband and father face on a day to day basis. The fears of whether or not you are going to be able to provide the things your family needs. The dad on the show was just worried about whether or not he was going to make it home from Iraq after he was shot in the neck.Then, after he made it home to Kansas his family’s home was destroyed in a tornado.
That’s probably a little more than Gavin Rossdale has had to deal with, but it was nice to see him getting involved and showing a little support.
I know there have been a lot of different celebrities interested in being a part of the show. It’s something that shows such support for the familes that have faced tradgedy and are trying to move on. Sometimes it’s hard to know where to start, when you are trying to give because there are so many that need help.
Good for him, he needs to start setting a good example for his boys. They will grow up knowing what it’s like to be giving and what it’s like to help others.
