Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria has been dogged with pregnancy rumors for the past year and while they were untrue, she really, really hopes that they will come true!
Eva's said she does want to start a family with husband Tony Parker, and the couple were reportedly trying.
"Eva was convinced she'd fall pregnant last summer and even told Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry that she was trying," says a friend.
"She and Tony are in despair because they've been trying for a while now without success."
Eva's said of having a family, "God will give us a child when He feels the time is right."
Although Eva, 33, has put on a bit of weight, it's for her role on the show as Gabrielle Solis. But she hopes to be gaining weight because of a baby, soon.
"Eva gets really upset about it all and says that a baby would make her family complete," adds the insider.
"She and Tony are so happy together and he longs to be a dad. But nothing's happened yet."
