Yes it is great for the kids and I sincerely hope they both work very hard at making the family thing work. This disposable selfish society we live in today makes it so easy to discard not just things, but more importantly, people. And the ones that suffer are the kids. I continuously hear it (and it's mostly out of the mouthsof woman) "oh they're resilient, they;ll get through it". The sad thing is, the kids aren't all that resilient, and they aren't getting through it. What's with this generation of ours? We've set a record for the highest rate of divorces ever. When we were gooing to school and one heard of a kid in your glass it was a shocking and somewhat disturbing thing to learn. Now it's become a social norm and thenones hurting the most are the innocent ones, the kids. When we were growing up you didn't hear terms such as "teen age hotline for suicides. Let's wake up people and stopliving the life of a soap star and back to reality.

I'm glad that they are trying to put their differences aside too.  Kids first, all the way.

Um, "putting aside their differences?" I doubt very much that Leoni would describe it that way. Yeah, kids first... meaning she's putting them first and he didn't.  

You're making assumptions based on a series of photos. Many couples can be separated/divorced and remain friendly, especially when putting their children first. No one has announced the couple's reconciliation. Until then, they are still separated.
