Sparkling Style: Christina Aguilera Talks Jewelry
Christina Aguilera certainly has her own fashion style and the same goes with her jewelry choices. The pop star and new mom shares her love of jewelry – everything from gold pieces, silver, precious & semi-precious stones and costume pieces. Christina is also the face of Stephen Webster’s silver collection. She’s featured in In Style and shows just how unique her fashion sense is.

“What girl doesn’t like to get a great piece of jewelry? I have a bunch of pendants because each one makes a different statement and has its own story.”
What’s your favorite jewelry look?
“I don’t like to pigeonhole myself because I play with so many different styles. I like classic pieces, but also modern ones that have a little edge and bite.”
What about a specific piece catches your eye?
“I am very visual. Even with my records, each one starts with a collage on a mood board. So for jewelry, there has to be something intriguing and unique for me to love it.”
Do you go by any jewelry rules?
“I love wearing hoops, [but] if I am doing big earrings, I go subtle on the necklace and vice versa. I wear white with jewelry too. I like how it makes things pop. I just add some red lipstick, and then the jewelry will be the highlight of the look.”
Is it ever not appropriate to wear jewelry?
” ‘Not appropriate,’ is not something I live by. Probably the only time I did not wear jewelry was when I gave birth to my son, and only then because I was swollen.”
