Mel B aka Scary Spice has a new album she's putting together and two of the songs on it refer to Eddie Murphy, the father of her daughter, Angel. Melanie had a romance with Murphy in 2006, and he refused to acknowledge that Angel was his until he was ordered to take a paternity test. And what do you know? Angel is his.
Two songs on her CD - "Reflections In a Broken Mirror" and "Second Hand Lover" - talk about Eddie Murphy, but Melanie decided to toss the songs from the final disc. "I was keen to keep them in," she says. "Then I thought: 'Why am I giving this jerk reference?' I've moved on!"
Nowadays, Mel is married to producer Stephen Belafonte. She also has daughter Phoenix Chi, 9, with her ex, Jimmy Gulzar.
