Britney Spears' youngest son, Jayden James, 2, was rushed to a Mississippi hospital Sunday afternoon after he collapsed at the pop singer's family home in Kentwood, Louisiana. Brit's ex-husband, Kevin Federline and father of Jayden, is flying out of Los Angeles to join her at their son's bedside.
It's believed that Jayden suffered a seizure and a source told the DailyMail.co.uk, "One minute Britney and her sons were relaxing and enjoying their first visit to Kentwood in months, and the next minutue Jayden had fallen ill. He was vague and responsive so Britney dialed an ambulance.
"But she was told it would take half an hour to arrive, and she was best trying to get Jayden to the hospital herself."
Britney, mom Lynne and dad Jamie took Jayden James in a Lincoln Navigator, while a Range Rover driven by Jamie Lynn and brother Brian, followed, blocking paparazzi. Police are now manning the hospital where the Spears toddler was taken.
The source added, "Jayden James had to be kept in hospital overnight for observations. We don't yet know what's wrong with him.
"Britney was insistent that (she) wouldn't leave him. She asked for a bed to be made up in the same room so she could be there at his side."
Britney, her boys and dad arrived in Kentwood for a family visit with Spears' mom and younger sister, Jamie Lynn.
We wish little Jayden a speedy recovery!
