Vanessa Paradis Talks About Marrying Johnny Depp
Women the world over are jealous of Vanessa Paradis. Such is life when you’re the girlfriend of the world’s sexiest man, Johnny Depp. And rumors have been circulating for years about her and Johnny getting married. Vanessa says the rumors are false.
“Each summer people say we’re supposed to be getting married,” Vanessa says. “But we don’t talk about it that much.” The couple have been together for 10 years now, and they have two children together, Jack, 6, and Lily Rose, 9. “He’s got me, and he knows he’s got me.”
Vanessa, 35, says, “I love the romance of ‘let’s get married,’ but then, when you have it so perfect…I mean, I’m more married than anybody can be. We have two kids. Maybe one day, but it’s something I can really do without.”
When asked if Vanessa has managed to tame the movie star, she says, “Tamed. What’s that? Like a lion? Nooo, no, we did it to each other. Maybe I’m a good girlfriend because I’m his girlfriend. I’m not sure I’d be a good girlfriend to anyone else…same for him. It’s something that’s natural, obvious, and beautiful.”
She totally gets how women want to mob Depp, too. “I understand. I want to mob him all the time, I do. He’s a very charming person.”
Hard to believe Depp got his start on “21 Jump Street” all those years ago. I played the giant teddy bear in a 3rd grade production of “The Nutcracker” to rave reviews and didn’t get squat.
