Trent Reznor wrote on the Nine Inch Nails web site: "Josh Freese fans, be sure to check out a show on the upcoming North American leg of the tour, as sadly they will be the last ones he's playing with us. He informed me he's leaving the tour at the end of this year."
Josh Freese is the drummer for Nine Inch Nails. He and his girlfriend, Nicole Amdrer, are expecting their third child in January. Freese is looking forward to more family time. He's been with NIN since 2005. At 35, that's pretty young to retire, so I'm sure he'll be in another band or project relatively soon. For now, though, he's on the road with NIN through Christmas or so...then it's the Waiting Game.
