Video: Elisabeth Hasselbeck Gets Bashed

Posted by Sassy Smith

The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck was given an opportunity to express her opinion on why she believes Sarah Palin is qualified to run the country and instead of backing up her beliefs, quite frankly, she blew it...

Video after the jump!

Babs said: "Every single day you never ever say, maybe there's another point, so this is your chance...."

Elisabeth: "Yes, I do!"

Babs: "Tell us now why you think that Sarah Palin would make a very good President (since she might one day be "a heartbeat" anyway)."

Elisabeth's response?  Priceless.  Watch for yourself.

I think she did fine. I wish there were another conservative on the view because the others (except maybe Sherry) talk over her every single day. It's crap.

I really wish The View would get another conservative panel member. A smart, articulate one. I'm not conservative, but I'd appreciate hearing an intelligent counterpoint. It only hinders the liberal pov when the counterpoint is a former reality tv star who can't string together a coherent thought without resorting to the same talking points over and over again.

She did fine? She was asked a specific question, given an opportunity to back up what she believes, and instead she answers the question with a question. It was a lame response to a legit question.

One girl?  Last time I checked Elisabeth was a 30 year old WOMAN. If she can dish it out, she should be able to answer a simple question.  Fact is, she couldn't back up what she apparently believes.

I love this!!  I can't stand her and it's exactly for the reason Barbara brings up.  She can't legitimately answer a question without just turning it around on the other party. If you love McCain and Palin so much than say what's so great about them.  I wish she'd quit because she's a real moron.  Although I RARELY agree with the conservative point of view I would like to see them get someone with this viewpoint is isn't stupid.

Elizabeth Hasselbeck is a very dangerous person because she supports Senator McCain's actions, and comments, regarding Senator Obama that are racist in tone.

Elizabeth, like some other White Americans, are really afraid that a Black man will become the next President of the United States of America.

It's sad because no matter how accomplished a Black person may be, they are still viewed as a threat to the "fabric" of the "real America." The "White" America! Especially when a Black person is getting closer to realizing  the "American Dream."

ELIZABETH IS ANNOYINGLY IMMATURE AND SEVERELY LACKING SELF CONTROL. SHE CONSTANTLY INTERRUPTS THE OTHER LADIES AND NEVER REALLY LISTENS TO WHAT THEY ARE SAYING, SHE IS JUST CONTEMPLATING WHAT TO SAY NEXT. I WISH SOMEONE WOULD JUST GET THE GIRL A MUZZLE ALREADY!
