Christian Bale's legal woes are over, at least for the moment. Prosecutors in England suggested that he should be cautioned, not charged so he'll get a slap on the wrist instead fines and imprisonment. According to a statement, "Bale will have to admit guilt to get a
caution when he answers bail next month. Cops can still charge him if
he refuses."
Well good, I'm glad for him. (just call me Pollyanna) We all have those family members that know exactly how to push our buttons and in a high profile, stressful position, who's to say that we wouldn't react the same way.
In England you can be charged for assault even if you don't lay a finger on someone. It's verbal assault. We need some of that here, I get yelled at all the time at work, over mashed potatoes.
Christian already had a strained relationship with his mother, which is why he went with his dad after they got divorced, but I guess asking for money and saying rude things about his wife was not the route his mother should have gone when trying to make amends.
