Sometimes when couples split, it's not pretty.  Other times, although they might not be "friends," they at least get along for the sake of the children.  It seems that might just be the situation between Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, despite rumors that the two aren't friendly.  Nicole and Keith Urban welcomed their daughter Sunday Rose a few days ago, and Tom made sure to congratulate the couple by sending oodles of flowers!

An insider said of Sunday's birth on July 7, "Tom was one of the first people to get in touch and he sent her enough flowers to fill a room.

Australia's Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, also congratuled the Hollywood actress with a hand-written note.  A pal said, "She's touched and amazed by it all.

"She has had hundreds of bouquets of flowers from well-wishers."

The elated parents are having Sunday Rose baptised in Australia, sometime in September.  The ceremony will be done by the same priest who married Nicole and Keith two years ago.

"Nicole and Keith are besotted with their baby.  Nicole wants to be a very hands-on mum and has shunned all offers of help."  However, she has her sister to count on if needed and a nanny at some point if they want the help.
