Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge just welcomed their daughter Maddie Briann, together on June 19 but according to sources close to the couple, they might already be in trouble. Reportedly, the 19-year-old Casey just isn't that into fatherhood. So is this the end of Jamie Lynn and Casey????
It's been said that Casey has been mostly absent from Maddie Briann and girlfriend Jamie Lynn. He's been staying at the couple's Kentwood property "Liberty," while Jamie Lynn and baby have been at the Spears' family home "Serenity." What's with the homes having names?
An insider tells Star, "Jamie Lynn is with the baby day and night and refuses to let anyone hold her, and that includes her mom." Ha, wait until she's up for 16 hours with a screaming baby that she can't console.
The source adds, "When Casey comes around, Jamie Lynn tells him to leave."
Grandma Joyce, Casey's mom, however, is making sure that her son plays a part in his daughter's life.
"She calls Serenity every day, and it annoys Jamie Lynn to no end. If Joyce has her way, Casey would be forced to spend more time with the baby, even though he seems uninterested in fatherhood."
Hmm, I thought everything, was like, perfect? I think Jamie Lynn and Casey are going to find that being parents, especially as teens, isn't all sunshine and roses. Not to say teen parents can't make a go of it or not that they can't be good parents, but it's hard, that's reality.
