Jamie Lynn and OK! Magazine Glorify Teen Pregnancy

Posted by Karen

Well if you haven't seen it already, the first photos of Maddie Briann are in, along with a pantload of quotes that make teen pregnancy look like a cake walk.

I'm glad Jamie Lynn is apparently doing so well *cough*staged*cough*, but it's all too perfect for me.  Listen to this:

"The first time I saw her, it was surreal. You can't even imagine that moment. She just looked at me, and she really didn't cry at first. I was scared, and then she started screaming. It is the best feeling in the world.

"The first time she really opened her eyes and I could see her looking at me and staring at me, that was the most amazing moment, ever. She looked at me, and she knew I was her mama. That was my favourite moment in the whole world."

Spears dismisses rumors of C-section, "There was no C-section. There were no emergencies. She was perfectly healthy. I had a normal, natural birth."

She also clears up any confusion surrounding Maddie's name: "Maddie is a name that Casey thought of, and I really liked it. Briann was because, a week and a half before she was born, one of Casey's cousins passed. He was in a car accident. His name was Brian. She's also named after my older brother, Bryan Spears."

And Spears insists she is taking well to being a new mum, adding: "I love taking care of her. It is so much fun. I just want to hug her and kiss her, and I'm happy all the time."

SQUEE!  Teen pregnancy is so totally fun!

Oh please.

Personally i believe her... its rough being a new mom at ANY age but all the rough times are forgotten in one second of peace with a newborn...whether it is when they are sleeping or you are changing them or they are just looking up at you .. it is an amazing feeling.... good for her for being proud she has every right to be! Everyone needs to get off her ass and her sisters ass! they are HUMAN for crying out loud! and wahoo for the fact they dont give a FUCK what anyone ANYONE in hollywood thinks!

I thought it was rediculous. They should have never did this article. They made every teen in American believe that having a baby at such a young age was all peaches and cream. I do think it is wonderful she is doing the right thing NOW, obviously she has more sense than her idiot sister. OK should have never glorified it.
