Eminem has laid low for the last couple of years and had people speculating on what he was doing.  There were reports that he wasn't well, and had gained a considerable amount of weight but his good friend 50 Cent defended him, saying he was "doing okay."  But although his health might not be a concern, he's got legal woes now.  The hip-hopper beat up some dude two years ago in a strip club and now he's getting his butt sued off....sorta....

The guy suing Eminem is only seeking damages in the amount of $25,000, which for Em is probably peanuts.  From The Huffington Post:

"A man has sued Eminem, claiming the rapper punched him two years ago while they were in the bathroom of a Detroit strip club.

The Detroit News reports Miad Jarbou of Royal Oak filed the lawsuit Thursday in Oakland County Circuit Court seeking more than $25,000 in damages. The suit claims Eminem punched him July 13, 2006, at Cheetah’s On the Strip Gentlemen’s Club.

Eminem spokesman Dennis Dennehy declined to comment Friday on the lawsuit.

Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, wasn’t charged following reports of an incident at the club in 2006.

The strip club is located on Eight Mile Road, the border between Detroit and the northern suburbs made famous by Eminem’s hit 2002 film “8 Mile.”

Apparently the dude, Jarbou approached Eminem while he was taking a leak at the urinal, and continued to bother him, being obnoxious.  Um, I'd punch him too.  Seriously, let the guy finish before asking for an autograph!  Admittedly violence doesn't solve anything (hopefully he explained this to daughter Hailie), but if you're pestering someone while they're using the bathroom, then you kinda, sorta, deserve a smack.
