Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas Chooses Jesse Csincsak

Another day, another reality show engagement: In a stunner on the season finale of The Bachelorette, former Bachelor contestant DeAnna Pappas chose snowboarder Jesse Csincsak (pictured on left) over single dad Jason Mesnick.  Mesnick, a businessman from Washington and the devoted father to three-year-old Ty was the favorite to win.  I never watched the show but even I would have picked Jason over Jesse - I'm not sure I could ever be with a man who stole Tracy Turnblad's hairstyle from Hairspray.

In the tradition of the show, both Bachelors proposed to Pappas, but only Csincsak got an acceptance and the 'final rose.'  This means the two are now officially engaged, until they fall out of love or their endorsement and appearance contracts run out, whichever comes first.

This girl needs some big-time slaps!  What's wrong with her? She wants 3 kids within 4 years.  As a mom of 2 boys, I can tell you, they come with very expensive price tags!  Deanna and Jesse...Beauty and The Bum!

Girl, GOOD LUCK!

I can't believe after all this going and coming, DeAnna chose Jesse!! Jason was a perfect match for her and he vice a versa. Soooooo, what happened?  My heart is so very, very  broken, I hope she doesn't realize later on that she made a "big" mistake! I'm sure it'll be to late, Jason really thought it was him getting the goods.

I remember Jesse telling DeAnna in a previous segment that he wanted to be a stay at home man. So, what does that mean? You can't have three kids before your 30 on just love. But, heck, what's love got to do with it?

Did DeAnna not hear his dad tell her he didn't think Jesse had grown up enough to be married! Her sister even told her he was different from any other guy she had dated. Maybe, she really does like surprises! Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Did you see her dad's face last night when they all found out who she chose. He also made a comment. I wonder if Brad was watching and what he thought? I looked him up on the insider reports today, he has great reviews on his winnings in snowboarding. I didn't know what a professional he was. I don't ever remember much being said about his profession

I am happy for them both.  I thought that Jason was a sure thing from the beginning but I really started to like Jesse and was pulling for him in the end.  Good for her for going with her heart despite what everyone else told her.  She wasn't looking to fall for him (over the other "perfect" guys) so it seems like the real deal to me.

Every time Deanna talked about Jason it was about him being a great dad before anything else.  That shouldn't be the biggest reason to marry someone and I'm glad she figured it out.

(Pat, they talked about snowboarding in almost every episode!)

Jason is an incredible man! He was a perfect match for DeAnna. Unfortunately, she had chosen Jesse. We want to believe, that he'll answer her hopes...

Jason stole the show being so natural, sincere, thoughtful, and loving person... He is THE MAN many women could dream of. He'll definitely find his soulmate!

Good luck, Jason!!!!!!!!!!

I hadn't gotten into the show until the last few weeks.  I just don't understand how she could pass up a guy like Jason.  He seems to me, he is the perfect catch.  I know my son is my life and it was so neat to see him with his.

OMG...I was such a big Deanna fan & during the season she became so self-centered.  She's dating 25 guys in a make believe world paid for by ABC and Jesse won't be able to keep up to this high expectation of constant attention and $$ to keep her happy.  Jesse would have spoiled her rotton and have been able to keep the Deannaland thing going.  She made a huge mistake.  I believe Jeremy & Jason were far better matches for her(like them or not) and she & Jesse will not be a couple by their May wedding date.  She will regret all that giddiness on the "after the rose ceremony".  She just likes Jesse now because of his novel lifestyle and it will soon wear on her.  I believe she ran to him because it was an escape from her responsible, serious life she is so used to.  She will be so out of place in Colorado.

oops...I mean Jason would've spoiled her rotton as he had the financial means and experience to know how to do so.

I watched anxiously to see who she would pick.  Right, Jason seemed right for her, but you must admire her for following her heart. I hated to see Jason's heart broken but, it's her life and she had to make the choice of whom she wanted to spend it with.  If more of us would follow our hearts and not our heads maybe there would be less divorce. More of us should look beyond the exterior. I felt she would pick Jessie because all through the show she kept him around for some reason. It's their lives and I hope they have many years of happiness. They looked so in love. I believe they love each other.

My goodness!  I just loved those posts doubting Jesse's ability as a professional snowboarder to support Deanna in a decent fashion.  Anyone familiar with the name Tony Hawk, the longtime professional skate boarder?  Tony began much like Jesse did, except he did it on a board with wheels on a wooden half-pipe instead of on a board with no wheels on a half-pipe of snow.  Tony Hawk is worth a gazillion dollars earned mostly through endorsements and sponsorships, and his subsequent ownership of the skateboard company he started - "Independent."

Jesse Csincsak ain't starving, Friends.  And, I'd venture a guess and say his networth is very likely far more than Jason's and unbelievably more than Jeremy's.

The perfect man for DeAnna was and is the man who has her heart, for whatever reason.  Jason would have been the "safe bet," unless of course, he's a serial killer or the like:)  "Safe bets" and love are no synonymous.  I think DeAnna made a wise choice in choosing the man you had her heart and the man with whom she can grow.  So, give DeAnna and Jesse the break they deserve.  If they marry and live happily ever after - fabulous.  If they don't, it won't be because they didn't take the leap of faith.  The "sure bet" in life is often a stale and boring path.

What does money have to do with loving someone and having a happy family.  You do know that money and material things do not go to heaven with you, but love sure does!!!  I'm happy for DeAnna she is a great girl and Jesse will make her happy!!  I know alot of rich unhappy people, but alot of poor happy families that truly love each other!!!  Mother of three and married to the man of my dreams!!!

Sadly, I just don't think that DeAnna and Jesse will last until May 2009: let's face it, Jesse is not ready for marriage and kids. Maybe in five years he will be ready but not now. I wish them all the best but the reality is that they are not as compatible as DeAnna thinks: I will be surprised big time if they make it official in May 2009: once the novelty wears off for Jesse he will just take off! During the interview after the final rose ceremony, Jesse seemed distant and was not into her almost at all: while she was all over him.

Don't you people know nice guys finisgh last, a lot of ladies don't want nice most want adventure/excitement someone to keep on their toes (bad boy syndrome).  I say she picked right on the money!  I keep the same stuffy high paying job but when the clock says go home I'm on the slopes dropping out of planes seeking excitement and I meet lots more people being outside of the stuffy work clothes and enviornment.

I was shocked that she chose Jesse.  He is a boy!  Even when he went to pick the ring he likened it to jumping off a 50 story building...unlike Jason who had certainty, maturity, and stability.  I actually liked Jeremy for DeAnna...Maybe Deanna did follow her heart, but I know from experience that your heart can get you in big trouble.  Anyone know how they plan on supporting themselves financially?  Also doesn't it seem like jesse is a pot smoker?  wonder if Deanna picked up on that.

I can't believe that DeAnna chosed Jesse over Jason. For crying outloud, Jason is every womans dream of a "great  man" and DeAnna had him and blew her chance. Why would any woman in the world do that! All Jesse is going to give her is a reality check that the perfect world of Reality T.V. and the fantasies of dime novels don't happen to in real life.

As the owner of several business and working with a lot of professional one-off's, (skating, skateboarding, skiing, xbiking, etc) there is a TON of $ in those industries for a successful and smart self-promoter.  That pretty much describes Jesses as an earner.  Disparaging someone because of their profession is a very ignorant thing to do, especially when you know nothing about their business, their clients and how they conduct their business.  That business is not all about "haircuts" and "suits" but I can promise the suits show up when people like Jesse hire them to handle their accounting and legal affairs!

I can tell you one thing I picked up about Jesse during the show. If you recall the visit to his apartment, it was incredibly neat and super organized.  I've got news for you doubters out there: very successful people are usually very organized. They also have *many* business interests.  From speaking engagements, to teaching, to product endorsements, to owning product lines, not to mention training for their sport and dealing with their fans, it is simply mind boggeling how much a professional athelete in any sport has to time share both themselves.  Jesse's a winner, folks. I have zero doubt he'll be able to support whomever he marries.

After Deanna sent Jeremy home, I was rooting for Jesse.  To be honest I was very disappointed to see Jeremy go.  It's not that I dislike Jason.  I do think he is a good person.  But, as my family have gone thru a lot as a result of marrying divorcee and stepmother/stepchild situation, I can't see myself marrying a divorcee especially with a child and do not wish for people that I care.  As for  Jesee, please don't underestimate him.  Aside from being professional snowboarder, he owns a few houses and has some business ventures.  Deanna is a realtor and I think they are a good match in this aspect too.  I am sure they must have talked about this off camera.  I wish the best for them.

I was totally blown away with DeAnna's choice. It was

nothing against Jesse. I just think Jason was so sincere

and really cared. These two men were completely opposites

in every respect. Jason the responsible, loving, give you

it all for your love..family man. I really feel in my heart

DeAnna strung him along. It was the same thing Brad did to

her. (which his name was mentioned in every, every segment)

I don't think DeAnna was the caring person she presented

herself to be. Go Jason...you have so much to offer...

Okay does anyone think that Deanna is just in all of this for the publicity because she certainly is playing the "celeb" quite well and loving every minute of it.  I used to like her but I wonder if her motives are sincere.  Have you all seen their new website.  She has become quite the self-centered little princess.
