American Idol's Paris Bennett Pregnant

Posted by Whit Honea

Former "American Idol" contestant Paris Bennett, aka Princess P, is pregnant.

19-year-old Bennett is due in October, by which time she will be twenty.

"This makes five generations," said Jamecia Bennett, the soon-to-be grandmother.  "I'm proud of how she did it. I was 16 when I got pregnant."

Way to go, Paris!

Fellow A.I. alumn Carmen Rasmusen is also expecting.

What a great legacy MOM, five generations that have gotten pregnant without being married.  Proud the way she did it?????????????  You have got to be kidding me.  Proud that your daughter got pregnant or does she even know who the, father? is or does that matter MOM??????

You are a disgrace as a mother and should be slapped upside the head and know some sense into you thick head.  Oh, that's right you don't have to worry paying for an out of wedlock child because MY TAXES AND OTHER HARD WORKING PEOPLE, will pay for it as they did for you and the other generations.  If I were you I would keep my big mouth shut and not show what a disgrace I am to women or Mothers who do the right thing and teach their daughters better than to just sleep around or maybe you provided the bed and smokes afterwards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  TAXPAYER

It is pretty sad that your are proud of being pregnant out of wedlock.  It is hard enough to raise a child with two parents, and double difficult with one parent (if father's not around).  Now I do not think you should down her or scold her, it's time to deal with the situation, and help her. So I guess you are really happy about raising a baby.  It seems to me your giving your daughter a false impression.

That is not a good thing.  I pray that God help you both.
