There's nothing sexier than a man unfraid of being vunerable, and showing he can be a sweet and loving dad. I love seeing a dad walk down the street, holding onto his little girl's hand or a dad getting in the sandbox with his boy. Hands-on daddies are the best! Therefore, I've decided to share my Five Most Loving Celebrity Dads. Maybe you'll share my point of view, maybe you'll think I'm crazy - either way, there's no doubting that these particular celebudaddies love their children and aren't afraid to show it.

Joel Madden - His baby girl Harlow Winter arrived about 6 months ago and from the get go, he was very vocal about how much he was loving fatherhood and it shows. Despite his 234 tattoos and earrings, and his black attire, I'm guessing he's a pushover for his little doll. He was quoted as saying, "You know, no matter how many beautiful girls there are in this audience, I must confess that three months ago, I had a little baby girl, and she's my one and only true love." Now, that would melt the coldest of hearts!
Tom Cruise - Okay, I know people are going to think I'm nuts for choosing Tommy, but listen, the man might be a bit weird at times and sure, we don't understand his thought process most of the time, but seriously, he's a loving dad. If you've ever seen an interview where he speaks of his children - teens, Isabella and Connor, and toddler Suri - you feel the love oozing from the man for his offspring. We can fault him for his views on certain things but no one can fault the man for not being an amazing dad - he definitely belongs on my list. Of course that doesn't mean I won't make fun of him from time to time.
David Beckham - We see David often, out and about with his three sons - Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz - and he really seems like a hands-on daddy. He's often taking them to basketball games, parties and playdates, takes them cruisin' down the city streets, and spends a lot of time with them. He also makes sure they get one on one time with dad, too, which is very important. He makes each one of them feel special. I like that! I think he and Posh should try for a girl - three boys and one girl (perfect combination - I can relate)!
Gavin Rossdale - He's a busy dad with 2-year-old son Kingston (and another son on the way with Gwen Stefani), always taking him to the park, the zoo, the beach - he spends a lot of time with his boy, watching him grow and explore and has often spoke of how amazed he is at his son. He also gives us a reality check, that even for celebrities, raising kids is hard work - the hardest job anyone will ever have, celeb or not. Gavin said, "I need more sleep. Of course, no matter what time you get to shut your eyes, the precision of a 2-year-old ready to meet another day is unwavering. Marching, animals, chalk, footballs, songs, waffles and searching for snails - it's a revolving door of fascination. And he's so into it, it's hard to not share his joy. Need coffee. Strong, thick, eye-opening and above all, helpful." Isn't that the truth?!

Brad Pitt - You knew he'd be on my list, because he's my boyfriend in my fantasy land mind, the man is a daddy to the max. When he decided to have a relationship with Angelina Jolie, he knew she had a son and single moms are package deals, so either you like it or you move on. It takes a strong man to take on a ready made family - it's not as easy as some may think, but Brad embraced his role, didn't take it for granted or certainly didn't take it lightly. He's become a dad many times over, and about to add twins to the mix. He also proves that biology doesn't play a part in whether a person can be a parent to child and be a great parent. His children - whether adopted or biological - are all beautiful to him, and for that, he has to be on my list.
And just because I like to do things a bit off the beaten path, I'm including a sixth dad. Sure I said this was my five most loving celebrity dads but we're going to go with the whole woman/prerogative thing and I'm including someone else...maybe you've heard of him, he's famous....in his own mind...
Whit Honea - Sure, he's not so much a celebrity as a celebrity blogger/writer but that still counts right? Plus he is a daddy to two precious boys, who get to spend a lot of time with him. I'm betting he's very creative with paper clips, glue, pipe cleaners and jello, all while typing one-handed. Sort of like a MacGyver daddy. It's not a cake walk being a work-at-home parent, so you've got to come up with ways to keep the children occupied while you try to get some work done, and that my friends, takes talent. And look at that photo - any father willling to bite his baby's head to make the older child laugh, is awesome! And no, I'm not getting paid to write this part - sure he's my boss, but that's not the reason. Really. Check's in the mail, right Whit?
