Nicole Richie, new mom to 5-month-old Harlow is receiving her very first parenting award! Editor-in-chief to Babytalk Magazine, Lisa Moran, tells OK! that Nicole will receive a Golden Pacifier Award. Nicole has really grown and matured, from partying, DUI socialite to responsible mother, with her own foundation - The Richie-Madden Children's Foundation. A lot has changed in a year!
Lisa says to OK!: "Honoring Nicole Richie with a Babytalk Golden Pacifier Award might come as a surprise to some, but we felt that she deserved some recognition for her turnaround since becoming a mom."
She adds, "She's grown up a lot since the arrival of little Harlow, and her creation of the Richie-Madden Children's Foundation has demonstrated her efforts to set a good example by shining a spotlight on important issues affecting today's families."
