Brad Pitt and his lady love, Angelina Jolie are allegedly cheap.  As in they want big discounts.

Rumors are that Brangelina wanted to stay in a private house at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort because Pitt is filming Tree of Life in Texas.  The resort house is priced at $2,000 per night, but the Jolie-Pitts balked at the cost.  They told a staffer that they'd be willing to pay $3,000 for a 30 day period.  Do the math - that's a 95% discount.

Hey, don't all parents want to cut costs?  Sure Brad and Angie are both independantly wealthy, but listen, they've got four kids and one, if not two more on the way.  Gotta save a buck here and there!

The celebrity couple, in the end, decided to rent a house instead.  Plus - apparently, production (of Tree of Life) could only pay $3,000 on lodging because they have a small movie budget.

I'll be fair - the pair do a lot of charity work and also donate money to those in need.  So I'll give them a break - a 95% break.
