I wanted to title this post, "Mary Louise Parker Breaks Up With That Porn Guy," but I though that that was maybe too obscure. Still: that's totally a porn mustache. That's also kind of a porn suit that he's wearing (maybe not so much porn star as porn producer, but still. SHINY PINSTRIPES.)
All of which is to say that, although I'm sure that he's an awesome guy beneath that facial hair, I can't say that I'm terribly surprised that their engagement didn't last that long.
Actually, my lack of surprise has less to do with the 'stache (tho',
really, how many men other than Tom Selleck can really pull that look
off?) and more with the fact that these two have broken up, like, a
gazillion times over the last two years and, also, are almost never
seen together - not even, notably, when M-L is out and about with her kids (all those pics of her with her newly adopted baby last year? NO MUSTACHE GUY. Where was he?). So, yeah, when they announced their engagement the other
month, I was underwhelmed. And now that they've announced their
disengagement, I'm also underwhelmed.
So there you go: celebrity gossip delivered up with a BIG FAT YAWN and a feeble attempt to drag porn into the mix.
