JLo reportedly gain over 50 pounds during her pregnancy with twins Max and Emme. Of course the diva popstar wanted to get back to her pre-baby body as quick as possible - even though, honestly, it seems slightly not safe or healthy to lose that much weight in such a short time.
According to Closer magazine, Lopez gets up at 4am to begin working out. She has three hour workout sessions seven days a week. She hired a team of nutritionists and personal trainers - who are referred to as her '120 lb team' - to whip her back into shape. Yikes, seems a bit extreme to me. Sure get back in shape but holy, slow down. And how does a new mom of twins find time to work out for three hours?
JLo incorporates Pilates into her workout, a one hour cardio session, followed by an hour of weight training. She eats about 1,400 calories a day and has given up all carbs. Given up ALL carbs? Oh my. Insanity.
Jennifer has also said that she is planning to run a triathlon in the fall. "I want to make my babies proud."
Make her babies proud? Uh, I don't think they care. I'm sure all they care about is being fed, changed, burped, cuddled and loved.
