There have been many reports about the well being of Katie Holmes, and we're happy to say that she's alive and looking quite well albeit a bit frazzled by the paps.  The actress was out doing some shopping on Beverly Blvd - but still, with no Suri in sight.

Star magazine claims that Katie's marriage to Tommy is "draining of her energy" and a source saying that she suffers from constant headaches and dizzy spells.

“Katie doesn’t get enough sleep – and hasn’t for months now,” told the tabloid’s source. “She’s tried and drained much of the day because Tom is so weird, and they stay awake until after midnight. He has boundless energy, and she just can’t compete.”

Also, Tom wants to pull strings and get his wife some serious acting parts, but she wants to do it on her own.

“Katie keeps telling Tom she wants a career like Reese Witherspoon’s,” says an insider. “Tom has offered to make calls to ensure she gets a first refusal on the hot scripts, but Katie insists she wants to achieve success without his help.”

I think being married to Tom Cruise would be quite the acting role - having to pretend to like the man.  Ha.
