Britney Spears has been allowed to visit her two young sons, Sean Preston, two and a half, and Jayden James, 18-months and apparently the visits have been going reasonably well. However, it's been an emotional time for all involved and little Sean has been having nightmares.
The tot has been sleeping in his dad, Kevin Federline's room because he's been having trouble sleeping and waking up after having bad dreams. Also, it's been reported that when Britney picked the kids up for their latest visit, Sean cried for his dad, but Kevin soon calmed him down and reassured him.
An insider said, "Jamie [Brit's dad] told Kevin that Britney handled the visit well. She actually did cry, but that was only because Sean cried when she took them from Kevin."
The source continued, "Britney always sings to them. She loves lullabies. In fact, before the split, both Britney and Kevin sang to the boys every night."
Britney's visits with her boys, also involve a psychologist and/or her dad Jamie - to help the boys with their confusion over the way things have been lately.
“Jamie plays with them and keeps them busy. They enjoy their grandfather, so it makes the time easier,” says the source. Brit has to learn how to handle the boys, she often treats them like dolls. "She dresses them for show and tell. She likes to show them off, but not give them the nurturing they need. I understand she is working on this part of her motherhood with her psychiatrist."
Another source claims that the boys are playing a huge role in Britney's progress. "Brit has expressed interest in becoming closer to the boys. Kevin hopes she is talking from her heart."
Spears may also be able to get up to three visits with Sean and Jayden per week now that she's got Stacy Phillips as her new attorney. "The No. 1 goal is for Britney to regain routine visitation with the kids progressing to a mutally agreed upon custody arrangment between Kevin and Britney and averting a custody trial."
I truly hope that Britney gets her act together for good - those boys are a gift and they deserve to have both parents, full time in their lives.
