Michelle Williams and daughter Matilda have now arrived in Brooklyn as reported by TMZ.

A short video (link) of the two arriving after the jump

Her mom, sister and some friends are at the home that she and Heath once shared.

Heartbreaking.  There are no words.

Why can't the press just leave her alone?

So I just about followed that link to TMZ and realized that I would only be fulfilling a morbid curiosity.  It's people like us that fuel this bullshit -people like us that make it impossible for a grief-stricken mother and child to deal with their pain privately.  I don't think I'd want pictures of me on a good day circulating the internet.

I agree- why did you decide to post the link to TMZ? Classless.

i can't imagine how hard it must be for Michelle to smile around Matilda, looking at her knowing she'll never see her Daddy again.

When my two year old called for his daddy when we had separated, it made me cry. We're a family once again and it makes me so happy too see them together, laughing and playing.

It really hits home - Matilda will notice her father is gone and that pain should never be felt by a child. This will be so difficult for Michelle now as a single mother because she too will miss him so much. My heart is so broken for you Michelle. With love to all of you.

Heath, please rest in peace. We all love you very much. xo

This has been so painful and surprising to many.  I don't know why I feel as I am grieving as well.  I saw Heath Ledger in several movies and thought he was a shining star. His entire essence was so bright.  It is so sad that he will never complete the destiny we think should have been his.  But, maybe he did.  The saddest part is that Michelle will not have a partner to raise their daughter and Matilda will not have her daddy. Although, from what I see, she looks very much like him.  Hopefully, the pain will subside in time, and she can remember all the best things about him.

I almost feel as if I lost someone close to me.  Rest in peace, Heath and my best wishes to Michelle and Matilda.
