Christian Bale lost 55 pounds for his role in Rescue Dawn, but it's not the diet that is intriguing, but what he did eat.
Expo Say quotes the actor:
"Werner said to me, 'How do you feel about swimming
through a snake-infested river?' so I said, 'How do you feel about it
Werner?' He said, 'I will do this if you will.' Then he asked, 'How you
feel about eating a live snake?'"
"It was a curious conversation, with more and more crazy questions. I thought, 'This sounds like an interesting endeavor.'"
Bale also ate live maggots in a scene.
Basically he got paid a lot of money to be on Fear Factor.
The movie is based on a true story and sounds pretty interesting and a little gross, not Two Girls One Cup gross, but up there.
