This makes me so angry. Paparazzi followed the couple home and back to the hospital again, hounding them with questions and forcing Quaid to call the L.A. County Sherrif's Department for an escort. Back off already! Quaid made a statement a few days ago asking for their privacy and obviously that fell on deaf ears.
There ought to be laws in place to protect celebrities. You can't use the argument that they "signed up for this," because nobody signs up to be harrassed and have cameras so far up their nose (or skirt). How many feet has Britney run over because of the relentless rush of paps? I've seen pictures where there have got to be 30-40 guys with cameras around her. With all the zoom lenses available now, all the more reason to back off already!
