Velvet Revolver and ex Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland is writing his memoirs.  "It's a weird thing," he says.  "You make a lot of records, write a lot of songs, but all of a sudden you go into a whole different vein, and it's a little bit scary to dive into."

Since when has Weiland been scared to dive into a new vein?  Isn't that what the book will be about?  One chapter on STP, one on Velvet Revolver, one on his little kids and a bunch of book about his battles with heorin- it will be like the non-thinking man's version of Naked Lunch but with a better soundtrack.
