I love her CD, and I love Katharine Mcphee, but in this case I'm think it's just bad taste. Kat does that sometimes, she wears "interesting" things. Congrats on the engagement, Kat rules!!!!

She's knocked up.  Taylor is the next Elvis.  Nice snarky comment though.

wow, she looks horrible.  taylor is the most sought after person on tour. his Cd is platinum and he's doing much better than mcflop, so i don't know why you used that comment.

Why do you have to bash Taylor?  Taylor is a very talented performer. Does it feed your ego to be mean spirited? Can't you just comment on the topic(Katharine)and leave Taylor (or any of the other idols) out of it. Just wish them all well.

Why don't you Soul Patrollers leave this blog. Taylor Hicks' CD is horrid. You're all biased because Taylor makes your love juices flow and sexual excitement causes temporary deafness.

Kat's gay fans (there all gay mostly) are cutting themselfs with a razor blade on there arms knowing Kat is marrying a man and NOT a woman.

You are right about that xtincx, they are all gay.  At least Taylor's fans know good music when they hear it and can support a true artist.

Kat often wears maternity tops. But, she's not pregnant.

As far as her career, it's doing fine-----she has a movie in the can, two more in production, an album that's spawned a gold single and has sold over 360,000, another album produced by David Foster in the planning stages, a two and a half million dollar spokesmodel contract with SexyHair, and you can't even pick up a magazine without seeing her in it. All this a year out of Idol. Her career is going fine, thank you-----her 15 minutes will be up in about 30 years.

She's not going away, and you know why? Just to piss off the obnoxious hags from the soul patrol who follow her around from blog to blog leaving nasty comments becuase their own guy has had some tough luck. She didn't make the comment about Taylor, the blogger did. Take it out on him, not her.

Keep trying to convince yourselves mcphans. Keep trying.  You're the only ones who do care.  She's in magazines because she lives in LA and goes around to where she knows she will be photographed.  Who cares about a hair deal?  Those sales numbers you quoted are pathetic.  Didn't every idol from her season outsell her?  LOL.  You can keep putting down Taylor and his fans all you want but at the end of the day he will go down in history books because slow and steady always wins the race.

You guys are honestly the most pathetic human beings I've ever come across. Arguing over American Idol contestants from nearly two years ago. Get a damn life. Taylor is not going down in the history books. Neither is Kat. They're doing their own thing and have their own fans and you guys need to seriously get over yourselves. You're pathetic.

You could be right about that. Still, it's hard to not answer some of the asinine comments. And for the record, Ella is Ella Fitzgerald, one of the greatest jazz stylists of all times. Katharine sang several songs associated with her on Idol, including I Ain't Got Nothin' But The Blues, which she knocked out of the park. Have a nice day!

I love Kat but I know she's not going to "go down in the history books." I'm just sick of Taylor fans coming to every single blog about the girl and putting her down just because they think it's a cool thing to do. For them to get a life would take a lot of work so it's best if they start now and stop stalking every blog story about somebody who isn't their beloved TayTay Hicks.

Looks like a good week to be an American Idol runner-up...

both of them will go down in american idol history as the winner and ruuner-up who were outsold by everybody else from that season.they are both loosers. nobody will remember them by next year.

Someone says she just "sometimes" wears maternity tops? Can someone tell me why she would do that? When she has passed menopause and gets the old lady gut, she'll have to. Why start now?
