What could be cuter than a red headed, freckle faced girl (and no I'm not biased because I am one, ha)? Julianne Moore has penned a, semi autobiographical book, called Freckleface Strawberry.
Moore was in New York City to read her new children's book, at J. Crew on Thursday. She said that as a young child of 7, living in Omaha, other kids used to call her the nickname, Freckleface Strawberry and that she hated it. I kinda like it! As a kid, I was called "red headed woodpecker", "big red and/or little red", "carrot top" and other crappy "red head" nicknames. I would totally take "Freckleface Strawberry" over the stupid ones I got.
Julianne said she wrote the book because she's always loved reading books as a kid. She spent alot of time reading while growing up because she and her family moved so much. She's always thought of herself as a reader rather than a writer so she's enjoying a world that she was always such a fan of.
