Halle Berry, 41, is apparently devastated after learning of her boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry's has plans to remain in New York, after their baby is born.
Berry had dreams of raising their child in Los Angeles. However, Aubry wants to pursue his modeling career and that is better suited to NY. A source said, "She's been shocked by the news. Halle had always assumed Gabriel would move to the west coast so they could live together as one happy family. If Gabriel stays in New York, it'll mean long separations. She knows their relationship won't survive and has been begging him to change his mind."
Halle wants her baby to have a close relationship with Gabriel because she experienced a long distance relationship with her own dad and wants more for her child. "Halle hardly knew her own dad and they were still estranged at the time of his death, so she's desperate for her daughter to have a father she sees regularly," added the source. Hmm, notice that the source said "daughter" and "she"? It's been reported that Berry is having a boy, so was that a misprint or did the "source" let something slip??? Interesting!
