Sexy dad Jason Priestly (that's Us Weekly talking, not my heart) and his wife Naomi are doing things a bit differently than many of their Hollywood counterparts. They've made the decision to raise their daughter Ava without the aid of a nanny or outside help.
Says Priestly, "The time we're going to get to spend with our daughter actually
being an infant is so short that I really want to have that time with
her. The fractured sleep that you get, the whole
experience -- I really want to have it all and soak it all in."
I don't know that I've ever enjoyed soaking in the fractured sleep, but the effort is commendable. I just hope they aren't scorned by those hardcore nanny unions of Hollywood. Those ladies* will cut you without even thinking about it.
*I know that there are also male nannies, but they are much less likely to resort to violence.
