While it’s impossible to control flight delays or turbulence, you can be prepped for at least the imaginable with a well-packed, but not overpacked bag. The Allerhand Carry-on Bag is small enough to stow beneath a plane seat, but has enough pockets to stash necessities and keep them in place. Though the PVC-free bag only measures 13 inches by 12 inches by 4 and half, it has two zippered compartments that open to reveal three thermal sleeves for bottles and stretchy elastic dividers. The bag also comes with several removable pouches to carry first-aid needs, a thermos, a cell phone or change. In addition to the travel changing mat, the bag comes with disposable bags to keep messes contained.

Available at Oompa in dark gray or flamingo for $94.99.

ABC Kids Expo 2008: Kaboost Deluxe Portable Chair Booster

We've written about Kaboost before. It's the portable chair booster that allows your child to sit at the proper height of the table, eliminating the need for a separate high chair. The new product they are showing at ABC is the Kaboost Deluxe, which is a normal Kaboost with a travel bag (sitting on the chair in the picture) in the (Deluxe only) charcoal color.

There's no doubt Kaboost is a cool concept, and one thing I learned from the rep at ABC was that Kaboost will fit any four point chair, including a Stokke Tripp Trapp. This kind of seems like it's defeating the purpose of a Tripp Trapp in the first place, but they said they had customers who weren't happy with the height of the Tripp Trapp and the Kaboost was the perfect solution. The other interesting thing about a Kaboost is that it increases the base of any chair it is underneath, thereby increasing the overall stability of the chair.

Kaboost Deluxe, $41.95 from Kaboost.com. (And if you've already got a Kaboost, you can pick up the travel bag for $9.95).

Children's Club Expo & Fashion Show: Baby Rhys

This family from the North decided they would not forgo great adventures just because they became the proud owners of a bouncing baby. However, their 8-month-old, Rhys, did inspire them to make globetrotting just a tad bit easier and they put their heads together to create 100% brightly colored cotton carrying cases, shoes, diaper bags and sun hats designed for tough travel. These hand loomed creations from the Canadian Rockies are also made for show; the cute striped cotton crib shoes with leather soles are a nice alternative to your Robeez. Bonus - for that personal touch, when you order them, you get a card from the actual seamstress who stitched them.

What I found to be the most clever were the little labels on the tote, so you know exactly where your spoon, baby food, tissues and bib belong. Because when you're on the move, you will appreciate good directions. Close-ups of the totes after the jump.

It's like a flatware holder, but for babies!

It knows where things go.
