I’m not one for saving items formally attached to a body, but I know there are plenty of parent-folk who keep baby teeth. The Official Tooth Fairy Kit creates a serious-looking, thorough record of all tooth transactions. The kit comes with a silk-screened “deposit bag” for teeth and a certificate to record the child’s name, tooth lost, how it came out, how much the tooth fairy left for it, and a little envelope to keep the chompers safe. Kids have no sense of time -- or at least, very little of it. This can be problematic when it comes to brushing teeth. That’s where the Sevi Creative Kids Toothbrush Timer Boy comes in. In addition to being an adorable way to store the toothbrush, it features a handy sand-filled timer so kids can see when they’re finished. No guarantees on brushing effectiveness, though.

We’re a wipe society. Born out of convenience, there are now wipes for everything from butts to boogers, floors to furniture. But there’s always room for another good idea, especially if it makes baby maintenance easier. Check out these Tooth Tissues.

Like so many baby products that are created out of necessity, this one was developed not only by parents, but practicing dentists. When I read their story it sounded all too familiar. Baby was falling asleep right after feedings when regular tooth brushing would be difficult. I know myself that I was always wiping my son’s teeth with a washcloth or anything else that was near by. Apparently there was a better solution, Tooth Tissues. Am I the only person bothered by the fact that regular toothbrush holders don't hold the larger-handled toothbrushes that kids use? Perhaps, but I think I may have found a replacement that can accommodate that Dora toothbrush from Oral-B. The Antonio D Toothbrush Holder from Alessi is a fun, wall mountable figure that holds a cup that is meant to hold your toothbrush. At $56 (on sale) it is still kind of crazy-expensive, but who said Italian design was cheap?
