We've told you about DIY play kitchens before, but if you aren't handy with a jigsaw and don't have the funds or the know-how to make a supply run to Home Depot, the $8 plans for the set pictured here, available at Etsy, are an awesome (and cheap!) alternative. Most of what you need -- primarily recycled corrugated cardboard and old wire hangers -- is probably already lying around the house, and if not, we'd bet there's a dry cleaner, grocer or liquor store that'd be glad to turn over its detritus for your building pleasure.
