• Spit Up: Underwhelming Clothes From Kea and Joby

  These little outfits from Kea and Joby aren't evil or anything, but I'm just not giddy over ill-fitting sweats in boring color schemes. And $37 for a hoodie and $28 for some schlumpy "yoga" pants with nothing special going for them...eh. Please lock up this writer: "There slogan is 'the kids' equivalent of your favorite pair of jeans'... This is so true." Um, typos aside, my favorite jeans are comfy, but my yoga pants and sweatshirts are comfier, so you might as well sell glorified sweats by saying, "the kids' equivalent of your favorite sweats."   Despair.com, the cheery company with the hilarious business slogans has expanded into kid's t-shirts and onesies. Each one is reasonably priced at $14.95 and cautions about potential hazards such as "Warning: may spontaneously combust." Now ain't that the truth. The shirts are from American Apparel, and as Despair says, "Customers are recommended to consider ordering a size larger than their standard t-shirt size if they are not familiar with the fit of American Apparel shirts or do not suffer from malnutrition."
