Nothing
gives one a more heart felt sense of satisfaction than having your kid
dressed to the nines in something absolutely fabulous and when an
admirer compliments your little ones stupendous outfit you’re able to
say “that old thing, I made it”.
Yeah, that’s a fantasy that
just isn’t a reality for most of us moms and dads. We’re a wee bit too
busy working, making ends meet, scheduling play dates, oh and raising
our offspring to do stuff like create carefully hand-crafted clothing
for our babies. But you know, you can always fake it.
I submit
my ten picks for items that you can pretend you made yourself using ten
different crafty disciplines. A little white lie never hurt anyone.
(And as an added challenge I searched for items that were available
only in traditional online stores and not on Etsy.com, cos that would
have been way too easy.)
