Vivesana Organic Sunscreens For Baby And You

Posted by Lisa Estall

This summer you’ll need to protect you and your family’s skin from the hot sun. Vivesana has two new organic sunscreens out, Solar to Polar Baby SPF 42 and Solar to Polar Ultra SPF 40.

I tested both and they are really good quality creams. What I loved about them is that there’s no suntan lotion smell! The screens are free of parabens...

and phthlates, is water-resistant, hypoallergenic, synthetic-free, and has no emulsifiers. Instead, it's organic ingredients all the way. Even the sustainable packaging is made in the U.S.A.

These lotions aren’t cheap though. The Solar to Polar Baby (shown here) is $32 and the Solar to Polar Ultra is $29. For Droolicious readers, get a 25% discount! Enter the code friendfamily25 at checkout. This offer expires May 31.

It's the first sunscreen my kids haven't complained about. You defintely have to rub it in a little, but it goes in without whiteness or greasiness. The smell is light and pleasant, too.  We've been using it for weeks...I love the stuff. Thumbs up!

We have been using it for a couple of weeks and its the only stuff my 3 yr old puts on himself and loves! A little bit of it goes a long way. I have even used it as moisturizer, its so yummy.

For me, apart from feeling good about not putting synthetics into my body, I like that they've committed 10% of profits to nonprofits.  Combined with buying organic ingredients, it seems they're going the extra mile.  Looking forward to trying the moisturizer.

I've been looking for a new sunscreen.  I've gotta say, though - these comments seem super, super fishy.  It's putting me off.
