Diaper Dude Goes Green, and Not Just for Earth Day

Green Dude: Eco-Friendly Messenger II Bag from Diaper Dude

We looked at one version of Diaper Dude's new Messenger II tote the other day, but this being Earth Day, it only seems fitting to note that there's also an eco-friendly version of the same bag hanging out on Diaper Dude's shelves.

Made from recycled PET material (i.e., plastic water bottles) that've been rewoven into polyester fabric, the 17" wide x 14" high "Green Dude" ($98) packs the same features as its less overtly green sibling, but in this case, a portion of the proceeds from each sale also go toward the non-profit organization Global Green USA.

The Green Dude is just part of a growing line of green-centric Diaper Dude goods -- check out the company's eco-friendly store for the rest.

Nice simple plainly styled bags.  And I love that it doesn't say "Diaper Dude" or have the logo on it like all the other ones I'd seen.  I had dropped them from my diaper bag shopping list because with little guy in shades, it just looks like I'm trying *too* hard to be a manly man.  I don't need a wanna be manly logo to be one, ya know.
