Decorative Outlet Covers For The Home

Posted by Lisa Estall

Socket-Lockits have put a new spin on outlet covers. Their decorative covers for the home are meant to be attractive as well as hopefully prevent your child from touching them. If you're worried that a child might want to take it out, they have a self locking barb that will secure the plug into the outlet.

The covers also have a convenient pressure-button release for easy removal and are...

printed with non-toxic ink.

The zebra and giraffe outlet covers are part of their Safari collection. If you don't like animals they have other designs including ones with owls, flowers and polka dots.

Priced at $5.99 you can buy them at the following sites: www.amazon.com, www.fuzzyme.com amd www.kangaroodle.com.

This seems like a HORRIBLE idea. Gee, what can I put on my electrical outlets to ensure that my child will want to play with them? Oh, I know: cute little animals! I like the cheap ones that not even I can manage to get out without breaking off all my fingernails.

Gee Mike did you notice that the outlet covers lock into the outlet.  No other outlet covers lock into the outlet, in fact 100% of kids between ages 2 and 4 can remove the standard outlet covers check out the studies.  Let's talk safety here!!!!

I love these outlet covers!  I have them in a few different rooms in my house. This is one of those products where you think, I SHOULD OF THOUGHT OF THAT!  The locking feature is key. My kids can not remove it but I can:)

This is my new baby shower gift for all my friends...

 I LOVE IT!!!!!
