The Next Big Thing for Tweens: The Lorifina Collection

Posted by elizabeth leach

Discovering our identity is a big part of growing up and for girls, especially, identity is all about fashion. The Lorifina Collection is a new brand of sophisticated dolls from Hasbro that gives girls a chance to explore their identity by learning about fashion. Girls can design a doll on the Lorifina website by choosing her skin tone, eye color, hair color, and fashions and accessories from New York, London, and Tokyo.

If that wasn’t enough fun, they can play with their doll on line by exploring new fashions and learning fashion terms from the pros at Parsons, The New School For Design. Styles can be saved in a “look book” and a “wish list” can be created for future purchases. There is even a section where they can learn how to care for their doll.

Lorifina Dolls ship in a very cool box, with each fashion item individually wrapped. The shoes come in a shoe-box complete with tissue paper. Just like the real thing! The clothes are designed ultra realistically, down to the buckles and snaps. No Velcro anywhere! Everything has been carefully considered to give girls a real life shopping experience.

Lorifina dolls are 20” tall and retail for $98, plus shipping. Doll arrives dressed in her signature cami and short set with one outfit and pair of shoes. Visit Lorifina and design your own doll and maybe even learn a little something about who you want to be.
