Fleece Booties Solving My Admittedly Small Problems

Posted by Erin Behan

The arrival of fall is giving me, as a first-time mom, a whole new set of worries: How to keep my baby warm but comfortable while outside. Our biggest problem has been the feet. While I have found socks that stay on under normal conditions, I haven't found socks that stay on when a baby reaches down and purposely pulls them off and then stuffs them in his mouth. Enter the Zutano fleece booty. This might be baby 101 for more experienced moms, but as a first-timer I found the genius of the booties' warmth and secure snapping system, well ... genius! They are virtually baby-proof and super warm. They run on the small side, though, so order up a size, my 6-month-old fits into the 6-12 month size now but will probably outgrow in another month or two. Buy them for $14.79 at Bambino Mountain in a variety of colors.

These were the best! We got a pair in brown and she wore them with just about everything. They wash well too.
