Kitchen Set for the Budding Chef You'll Send to Johnson & Wales

Posted by Erin Behan

Folks, this kitchen set has a stainless steel sink that holds water. If that isn't a serious play kitchen, then I'm not sure what qualifies.  This is the Cadillac of play kitchens: knobs that turn and click, doors that open and close, and a mature color palatte that will go perfectly with your own Viking-outfitted real kitchen. Of course, this kind of detailing doesn't come cheap. Pottery Barn Kids has a few different packages. Fridge, sink and stove are $879, sink and stove are $579, fridge and stove are also $579, etc.

I'm sorry, but that is just ridiculous. Give the child some cardboard boxes and work out his/her imagination. Good lord.
