ABC Kids Expo 2008: Microwavable Plush Animals – The Cozy Collection
Say what now? Microwavable cozy toys? The best part of a show like ABC is seeing the brand new stuff that’s coming out, especially from the smaller producers. The Cozy Collection from Pritty Imports are plush animals (ducks, bunnies, lambs, pigs, cows and dogs) that you put in the microwave to heat up before bed time. Each animal will stay warm for about an hour, or if you’re cuddling with it in bed it should stay warm for up to two hours.
It’s a simple idea that, quite frankly, I can’t believe no one has ever thought of before, but I can’t think of another product like it. The toys are stuffed with “natural wheat” and are “gently scented with French lavender”. Best of all there is no removable inner pouch you have to deal with. Made in Britain, they are brand new to the US and should be available for around $19.95 in stores soon.
Check them out at their web site, PrittyImports.com.

If this is anything like my lavender-scented, wheat hull-filled back pillow, you can really scorch the crap out of yourself if you’re not careful. What parent wants to be responsible for her child’s lifelong fear of bunnies thanks to 2nd degree burns?
the only time putting Bunny in the micro is acceptable…
Cute! But it sounds like a “Wuvit”. Which is American made, from corn — the developer is a millionaire thnx to her invention
