List Caddy Lends a Hand to Harried Coupon-Clippers

Posted by Aaron Burgess

As the main grocery shopper in my home, I've gone especially bananas for coupons during these economically lean times -- but as our family's most attention-deficient member (hey, I'm a busy guy), I've probably lost as many coupons and grocery lists as I've put together. So while a gizmo like the List Caddy may seem a little superfluous to those of you who are more together about your coupon/list organizing, for me it's a lifesaver.

Clip the List Caddy to your cart's handlebar, and -- assuming you don't have a toddler parked in front of you, ready to turn it into a Frisbee -- the List Caddy keeps your list, coupons and pen within arm's reach. It's magnetic, too, so you can slap it on the fridge when not in use, and though the company offers a number of other creative ideas for using it, I'm keeping the List Caddy locked and loaded where it can't be easily lost.

$5.99 (with a 30-day money-back guarantee) from Organize-It, Stack n Rack, and a number of offline retailers.

UPDATE: Yep, it's $4.99 from the company's store. Whoops!

Wow!  I totally need this!  There's nothing like cruising thru the grocery store, knowing you have a coupon for an item and not remembering the details of the coupon.

Sure, I could be semi-organized and have my list made beforehand with the coupon details on it but what fun would that be...? ;)

Save yourself $4.99 and do what my mom has always done: write your grocery list on the back of an old envelope (there's never a shortage of junk mail) and put your coupons inside.
