Zen Collection from Fisher-Price

Posted by Chris Ford

If I recall correctly, back in 2004 the only choice we had for swings and such from Fisher-Price was the Aquarium pattern.Don't look now, but it looks like some designers over at Fisher-Price must have been checking out some of the more modern baby products. And the result is the Fisher-Price Zen Collection.

The Zen Collection isn't exactly a bunch of Eames knock-offs, but it doesn't look like the typical duck and bunny designs I expect from Fisher-Price either. The Infant Seat (pictured) isn't exactly a copy of an Oeuff Baby Lounger, but the colors and patterns do seem more designed for the parent than the baby. In fact, I can see lots of parents liking he Fisher-Price design more than something more modern. Either way, it's something worth checking out.

The FIsher-Price Zen Collection Infant Seat, $79.99 from Amazon.com
